About Andrey Zykin

Andrey Zykin, a Russian immigrant, moved to the Buffalo area in 1997. He has several degrees in mechanical engineering, and while in Russia, he consulted with government officials, developers and residents about better quality lighting.

"I brought these ideas to America because they can provide great savings and opportunity to Western New York," states Zykin. He said that as a result of the initiatives at the retail outlet, AZ Light is seeking to expand into manufacturing. He is working towards the goal of opening an LED manufacturing facility right here in Western New York. The facility would manufacture all of AZ Light's products, including LED lighting, fixtures, and accessories.

Andrey is also proud of his involvement in Start-Up NY.

Andrey and his wife Masha have two children and live in Getzville. They are also the proud grandparents of Nadya.
